NexBook Mobile

Terms of service

The rules for using NexBook Mobile.

Effective date: 4 November 2026

These terms apply when you use NexBook Mobile (“the app”), provided by Zain Ahamed, Sri Lanka (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them.

Licence

We license the app to your business for use on the phones covered by your subscription. The licence is personal to your business. You may not copy, resell, share your activation code, or try to remove or bypass the licensing in the app.

Activation and subscription

  • You receive an activation code from us. The code activates the app on one phone. To move to a new phone, ask us to reset the device and enter the same code again.
  • The subscription is paid in advance for the period agreed with you, normally by bank transfer. We record each payment against your account.
  • Prices and payment dates are agreed with you directly and may change for future periods with notice.

Grace period and locking

If a payment is not received by the paid-until date plus any grace days we gave you, the app locks until payment is recorded. The app can also lock if it has not been able to check your subscription for more than 7 days, if it has not been activated within 7 days of first use, or if the app version is too old to be supported.

Locking never deletes your records. Your data remains on your phone, and the app unlocks once your subscription is active again. We may suspend or block access for misuse of the app or breach of these terms.

Your data and backups

Your records are stored on your phone and belong to you. You are responsible for keeping backups. The Google Drive backup is a convenience. It depends on your own Google account and storage, and you should check from time to time that it is working. If you lose or reset a phone without a backup, we cannot recover your records. See the privacy policy for what is stored and sent.

Your responsibilities

  • Check that the figures in the app, including costs, stock and invoices, are correct before relying on them.
  • Keep your phone and activation code secure.
  • Follow the laws that apply to your business, including tax and record-keeping.

No warranty and limit of liability

We work to keep the app reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without any promise that it will be free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the app, including lost data, lost profit or business decisions made from its figures. Our total responsibility to you is limited to the subscription fees you paid for the period in which the problem happened.

Ending the subscription

You can stop at any time by not renewing. We may end a subscription for breach of these terms. Fees already paid for a period in progress are not refunded unless we agree otherwise. Your records stay on your phone after the subscription ends, but the app will be locked.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
